Specifically, a giant granite ball near the theatre in the city of Yekaterinburg has been painted to look like a giant Poké Ball.

No one has claimed responsibility for the brazen act of nerdery, nor is there any indication what kind of Pokémon is inside.

According to Buzzfeed, this isn't the first time mischief makers have dolled up the granite ball sculpture to look like something else. Once, it was painted to look like a character from the game Angry Birds.

The city's mayor,Yevgeny Roizman, seems pretty chill about the whole thing, saying, "I do not see anything wrong with that."
